Hondata FlashPro for Honda S2000 (AP2)

Good news for all Honda S2000 AP2 owners.. Hondata has finally released their FlashPro for the Asian S2000 and it is now available for orders.

About Hondata
Hondata, Inc. is an American corporation that specializes in the modification and reprogramming of certain Honda and Acura engine control units (ECUs). Its products are popular with certain members of the import scene concerned with engine swapping and tuning. Additionally, Hondata is responsible for ECU tuning in the serious sports car, the rear-wheel drive Ariel Atom. (wikipedia)




One advantage of FlashPro is that it allows NA and FI tuning using the factory Honda S2000 ECU. FlashPro is used by connecting it to the OBD-II socket of the car and is only available for car models from 2006 -2010 models (with DBW). It also provides real-time programming, a variety of calibrations and extensive datalogging capabilities.

All reflash can be done on site, so there is no need to remove your ECU and send it to Japan to reflash and have it send back, which in the end will cost more.

The s300 uses different connecting pins in the ECU from the s100/s200, and also has a slot cut in the side for the USB connector, so the ECU must be modified for use with the s300. The s300 is made to fit in a full frame ECU case (US and most markets), so will not fit in a JDM ECU case.

The LC-1 Lambda cable is a complete wideband controller built in to a sealed cable. It features the same award-winning patented digital measurement principal found in the LM-1, and includes digital input, output, and 2 user programmable analog outputs.
